Cwaves and GSC, both highly respected names within the maritime consultancy and casualty sectors are pleased to announce a pooling of their resources to offer a comprehensive service for salvage and wreck removal operations through an informal association.
Cwaves, a well-established London based maritime consultancy, with a strong reputation for its engineering prowess including Naval Architects, Maritime Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, Marine Engineers, Master Mariners and Members of the SCR Panel at Lloyd’s, have provided professional consultancy services involving marine casualties for over a decade.
GSC, is renowned globally for its marine casualty response, salvage and wreck removal consultancy and for providing the services of Special Casualty Representatives, Salvage Consultants, Salvage Masters and Project Managers for wreck removal operations. It has a team of Master Mariners and SCRs located globally in the Netherlands, Singapore and South Africa.
The synergies of the professional services provided by the two companies, combined with their global reach offers undoubted benefits to the marine insurance sector and its clients.
The companies will collaborate closely to provide a full and seamless service in all aspects of marine casualty response, salvage and wreck removal to Owners, their Property and Liability Insurers, their legal advisors and clients, wherever incidents occur.
The arrangement is structured to enable both companies to act independently where appropriate, avoiding any conflict of interests, or to pool their resources to provide a comprehensive response in major casualty situations Worldwide.
